One of the things I've been discussing/thinking about/panicking about/changing my mind over/designing at great length over the last few months is the issue of 'to link or not to link' - that is, do I provide links embedded in the text to allow a user to click or poke at in order to undertake certain actions.  It sounds a small thing.
