Any suggestions on how to run the Flash!, Starry Orb and Poison Fog spells so they're not unbalanced?

I've had another thought on them. Even with a way to interpret Starry Orb that make sense, the "Creatures who have average intelligence or less will be hypnotised on a roll of 1-4 on 1D6" part is a bit of a game breaker. It means many high SKILL creatures can be taken out as easily as low SKILL ones, and in a group, which is too powerful for a 2 point spell. A better way for it to be more effective against less intelligent creatures might be to swap that for "Creatures who have average intelligence have a -1 penalty, and low intelligence a -2 penalty, on their roll to avoid being hypnotised. Creatures with an intelligence of None are immune to the spells influence."

Also I better add that I wasn't saying Force Bolt isn't useful, it's just not good value against weak monsters. But with there being no test to avoid damage it's great for finishing off high SKILL ones. Firebolt on the other hand is pretty useless, your best hope is your enemies are easily impressed and run away :)
