Andrew Plotkin describes a serious issue affecting Inform development on macOS Sierra, which may affect IFComp entrants finishing up their work this evening.
Workarounds do exist, as noted in that forum post. If you have any questions, please follow up on the forums, or email the competition organizers.
(Sadly, this also affects Mac users who like the IF interpreter Zoom; apparently, it simply doesn’t work any more as of macOS Sierra. I’ll make sure that any lists of interpreters suggested by IFComp materials receive the appropriate updates.)
