yup, we had an armoured character who was equally skilled take on the bulk of the enemies while the ambidextrous two short swords guy singled out enemies for the killing moves.

worked well against quite dim and cowardly creatures orcs nd goblins for example, probably wouldn't work against more intelligent or tactical foes though.

5 goblins against one armoured warrior using fight defensively and one goblin at a time fighting the ambidex dude worked much quicker and less damage suffered than splitting into equal groups


Nice, never thought on this option! I'm running the Sorcery campaign for my players and they were almost wiped out by a goblin ambush on their way to Cantopani, haha. They are still disregarding the potential of the defensive fighting. I'll show them this kind of tactics!
