I have a strong memory of some sort of gamebook where you could switch between a physical world (classic dungeon crawly style, maybe?) and some sort of shadow/mental world where the same reality was reflected in another way. So maybe you could fight enemies but you fought them based on mental strength or something. Or locked doors would become puzzles... I can't really remember, just that it was atmospheric/interesting.
Anyone remember anything like this?
