I've put together some more new Wizard spells. Unlike DarkSoul's excellent efforts, instead of being based on the gamebooks these are aimed more at filling what I see as capability gaps a Wizard would want to fill. Dragon Flame I posted above as Dragon Fire, but I noticed there's already a Dragonfire spell in the AFF Warlock of Firetop Mountain adventure! So I've renamed it to avoid confusion.

The Dragonfire spell from Warlock of Firetop Mountain is one of those pain in the butt spells because it's hard to work into the existing game mechanics of AFF2.
It's a spell, (A unique one at that) that has been memorized by a non spell caster, who can use it forever.

Trying to justify the spell so that it makes sense in AFF2 leads to some interesting rational.

1)The character in WoFM had extra experience points and decided to spend them on gaining the magic score and learning a new spell.
2)The Dragonfire spell is a new kind of magic that is learnable by anyone and useable by anyone even if they don't have any skill in magic.

I have to go on a segway here. There is an interesting recurrence of this idea in fighting fantasy books. A wizard in Demons of the deep explains that some magic can be learned by non practitioners of magic and some requires study. In demons of the deep you can use the black pearls to various effects. The same thing happens in Daggers of Darkness. You can use Treffili( a root) to cast spells) I think, I'm not sure, that the magic is held in the items usually. Black Pearls are known to be magical from "City of Thieves". So, there is another field of magic that can be learned by non practitioners

Some of these spells that can be cast by anyone are pretty powerful, too. Treffeli can be used to either cast sleep on someone or cast invisibility, a friggen, 4 Magic Point Spell! The black pearls are pretty powerful, too. You use them to summon a skeleton! Even more amazing is that the more black pearls you have, the more skeletons you can create! That is, way more powerful then the raise dead spell. If that is the kind of magic that can be learned by non practitioners, then what the hell can a practiotioner do???

The second option can lead to a whole list of new spells that can be learned by anyone. I'm still trying to think of a way to add that as a mechanic to the game while not messing to much with the existing AFF system. I'm thinking that players have to spend XP to learn the non-practitioner spells like any other spell and then they just add the spell to their character sheet.
